Abbate, 26, of Honolulu, HI, assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, based out of Camp Pendleton, CA, was killed on December 2, 2010, while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan

Tomorrow is officially the last day of the Paleo Challenge.  Be sure to record your scores on the paleo board.  We will be doing measurements on Wednesday at 7am, 8am 11am, 5 and 7pm.  Please  be sure to try and make it to one of those times.  You will also need to email me your after pictures at crossfittheclub@hotmail.com

We will also be cancelling the Monday O-lifting classes and going back to the regular scheduled O-lifting class of Thursday’s at 7pm.  We are planning on time changes to make it more convienant when we get more space, I strongly encourage everyone to attend an O-lifting class, you will make a ton of improvement in those areas.  We also have a limited amount of spots left for the Burgener Seminar Aug 17th.  I Highly recommend putting money away for this event, I am anticipating it to be sold out by next week.

CFTC Games

I have heard it is a bad time to hold our annual CFTC games and that probably is true.  But there is never a good time, last years games where a lot of fun and would love to make it a tradition.  I hope everyone can set aside that day for some good old crossfit fun.  You get to experience what crossfit is all about “the SPORT of Fitness”.  Crossfit is competitive but you will be doing it with your fellow crossfitters.  You will NOT have to be able to lift massive amounts of weight, the workouts will be the basic crossfit movements, simple yet sinister!  Anyone that is interested there is a sign-up sheet next to the drinking fountain, be sure to put your shirt size on there also.  There will be a $15 fee this year but you will receive a very cool shirt for all of your efforts.
