Thanks to everyone that came out to support our Crossfit The Club members that competed in the New Years Day Throwdown.  Great job to all the competitors you represented very well.  We finished in 2nd place as an affiliate.  Check out the results, click here.

Back Squat- 5 sets of 3 reps @ 80% 1RM

Rest 10 sec

Ring Plank Holds (max time)-  5 sets


*5 minutes after you have completed Back Squat and Ring Plank Holds.

10 Burpee Box Jumps

2 Turkish Get-ups

8 Burpee Box Jumps

4 Turkish Get-ups

6 Burpee Box Jumps

8 Turkish Get-ups

  1. You guys freaking killed it this weekend! Brody, Kelly, Scott, Jill, Ben, and Jori tore it up and gave it all they had. It was a lot of fun judging you guys. Can’t wait to Fitness Elevated so I can throw down with all of you. Keep rocking it!

  2. Nice job to everyone on the throw-down competition; Keylee and I are SO mad we could not make it. Keylee had an illness so we were not able to compete on Saturday, but for some reason someone showed up and did the competition under our names. Awesome – we took 37th overall and did not even compete; take that Spealler!

  3. That Throwdown was a BLAST! Everyone who completed… You rock! Everyone who came out to support… You also ROCK! It was an awesome way to spend my saturday… Good friends, good competition, and one HELL of a partner! Kellie you are incredible!

    P.S. Chase did you go home with Speal or Jana that day?

  4. Wow…. Mary Lampas (behind Chase) looks toooootally stoned. Maybe she’s feeling that way, you know, being in Chase’s presence and all. 🙂
