“Mary”

AMRAP in 20 min of:

5 HSPU

10 Pistols

15 Pull-ups

 or

“Mary “ish”

AMRAP in 20 min of:

5 Shoulder Press- 95m/65w

10 Squats

15 Pull-ups

 

Mary is one benchmark that will eliminate most people from completing Rx’ed.  Pistols are hard to scale, either you can do them or not.  We set out to conquer all the benchmarks, so we must finish what we started.  Can’t do pistols- still come, I bet Mary “ish” will still make you sweat a little.

  1. Quick bit of advice, split the pistols up… one on left, one on right, one left, one right… so on and so forth. You will fly through them! Also, Oly-shoes were incredible for pistols. If you have them, use them.

    As far as my playground… It’s fun but nothing compares to our arena and the people in it!

  2. It’s true, ladies seem to have a knack for pistols. All the ladies seem to do it flawlessly and the guys….well, most of us were a little awkward. Good job ladies!
