2 Rounds for time of:

25 Shoot Throughs

25 Knees to Elbow

25 Back Extensions

25 Sit-ups

25 Slamballs- 30m/20w

25 Turkish Get-ups- heavy as possible

* Score will be time completed and load of Turkish Get-up. 

 

MOBILITY WOD– 10/19/10 post

Hey Mwod Mob,
Congrats on reaching day sixty of the mobility project. Do the quick math here won’t you? Ten horrible minutes a day x 60 days. That’s six hundred minutes of mobility. The big idea is that the fact that it’s virtually impossible to reach that kind of “take care of your business time” unless you do a little bit every day. Remember, one degree of change on the horizon represents a huge change in direction over time.

  1. Whatever Lindsay! We all know you put this WOD together with a “Joker” like laugh and face! However, it was a rear-kicker in a good way of course. I only did 35lbs and was beat. Brody and Rowdy did 53lbs in our 6am class – nice job guys; truly amazing!

    turkish getups, I thought I might have to push my panic button – “I’ve fallen, and I can’t get up”

    @Jerilyn – you’re going to love the shoot throughs… do a push-up on the pvc thingie, shoot your legs through and do a dip.

  3. Hey thanks for the props Justin but in my opinion we all killed it. Those were ridiculously hard. I’ve been suffering from TGS (turkish getup syndrome) all day. Plus I heard we got lucky. I guess a true shoot through involves a pushup and dip as well. Ha Ha to all you suckers in the later classes! If I hurt this bad, you’re gonna be in some serious pain! 😮

  4. Too funny that I was asking Lindsay for a formal apology during this wod (I hadn’t read it on here yet)…not necessarily for the length, but as what I have now deemed, “the stupidest wod ever! Anyways, thank you Lindsay…I accept!

  5. AWWWW crap…totally my bad on the shoot throughs!!! I was SO concerned about the Turkish Getups and remembering the correct form (even though I watched the 3 part tutorial about 6 times haha), that I forgot there was the pushup and the dip on the shoot throughs!!! So a HUGE apology to the 5 and 6 AM classes!!!
