Why I CrossFit:
|
I have always been athletic and always played some type of sport at one point or another in my life (volleyball, cheerleading, softball, gymnastics, karate, and for a very brief moment I actually clogged-LOL). I LOVE peoples accomplishments, especially athletic accomplishments! It doesn’t matter how small or great the accomplishment, it should be celebrated!!! I love the people and I also love the range of emotions I feel when I come. I love the social part of the morning, the anticipation of the WOD, the excitement and adrenaline rush right before the WOD, the intensity and determination of conquering the WOD, and the constant encouragement from good friends. What a great way to start the morning! |
CF Certifications: |
Level 1 Certified, Elementary School P.E. teacher (2 years which would explain my cue cards and the extreme detail I go into when teaching a class-haha), Collegiate Cheerleading CEU (I had to put this, because it really speaks a large part about me. I LOVE to cheer people on, always have, always will!) |
What I love about CrossFit The Club:
|
I LOVE the people!!! It doesn’t matter who you are. If you are coming to CrossFit the Club I will know your name very soon!!! We aren’t just a number here, we are a CrossFit family and when someone is missing, it is definitely noticed! |
Favorite CrossFit WOD:
|
Filthy 50 and Fight Gone Bad |
Power Food Choice: |
Homemade omelets with peppers, garlic, mushrooms, spinach, and any other veggie I have at the time, with turkey, chicken, or steak added. |
#1 Training Goal for the Next 12 Months:
|
I have many other smaller training goals, but the top three are as follows: Join the muscle up club, pistols, and I would love to hit at least a 275 lb. deadlift (only 30 pounds away)! |
Interesting About Me: |
Oh gosh, what’s NOT interesting about me? Haha! It’s extremely rare that I EVER forget a face and I’m pretty good memorizing names. Knowing peoples names is important to me. I love people in general and I believe everyone has a story. Everyone has experiences, one or many, that has shaped them to a great degree. I would love to sit down with everyone and get their story. I love to learn from people and feel there is great learning to be had among all of us, by each of us! |
