CrossFit The Club Swimsuit Challenge
CHALLENGE DETAILS:
- 10 week challenge beginning 3/15/10 (through May)
- Paleo diet required
- Cost is $20 per person which will be put into a “pot”.
- There will be one male and one female winner, who will split the money from the “pot”.
- In order to win, food journals must be submitted every two weeks via email or submitted during class.
- Before and after pictures are mandatory. Pictures should be taken in your swimsuit with a front, side, and back photo and will be kept completely private. You can email them to crossfittheclub@hotmail.com.
- Trainers will pick the winning male and female according to results shown from their before and after pictures.
For the swimsuit challenge we are not going to take any measurements, weights, or body fats, and there are a couple of reasons for this. First, there are many people that don’t actually lose any weight from dieting and CrossFitting, but have tremendous results in the way their body looks. Since this is the swimsuit challenge we don’t care how much weight you lose, but how much better you look in your swimsuit. Also, body fat measurements can be very inconsistent. The main purpose of the challenge is to look better, feel better, and perform better during our daily WOD’s. You will receive numerous health benefits from altering your diet as well as feeling better about yourself. It will be hard, but well worth your effort and time.
I also want to emphasize the importance of food journals. If you keep a detailed journal, and aren’t experiencing any results, then we can go back through what you are eating and make some adjustments to get you the results you want and deserve.

This sounds great! Couple questions though….. when are we starting this challenge? When do you need our pictures by? Where do you want us to send them? Eric and I are definitely in!
And if we have a few days between now and may that aren’t strict paleo, we don’t get kicked out of the challenge, right?
Before picts……here I come. I’m in.
I like how you will judge this contest. On an unrelated note – how can I become a trainer?
Yes when does the challenge start Aaron and I are in also. Just need to know where to send the pictures into.
I am in….I will even give a before picture which is a very hard thing for me to do!!! Very scary let the challenge begin.
My biggest concern with this challenge is that I already look amazing in a swimsuit. I hope that won’t hurt my chances.
Lindsay:
I’ll do this but you have to promise not to post my before “thong” picture on my birthday.
Ooooh yeah…. these pictures can in no way be birthday pictures–unless its the after picture and its amazing.
What’s our start date, and if before St. Patrick’s Day, somebody please tell me that cavemen drank beer.
Oh… I also came across this site on facebook yesterday. I haven’t explored it very thoroughly yet, but seems like there may be some good information:

Ok, the start date has been added as well as where to send the photos. In case you don’t want to read it again, it will begin 3/15/10 and run through May. Photos can be emailed to crossfittheclub@hotmail.com.
Yeah!!! I’m excited for the new challenge.. Bring it on!!!
Oya, Jill says she’s in..
I started on Monday……….that’s called getting a headstart.
Feeling good so far. Bring on the challenge.
lol…you all are crazy, but I am in!! I guess I should get the diet.
Ok can you do this diet if you are a vegetarian (who also doesn’t eat fish), infact I don’t eat anything that has a face!!!
I think this is a great idea. However, I believe the photographers eyes will never be the same! Have fun
