Flex Diet Training

The Flexible Diet is gaining popularity in the fitness world, and for good reason. It works! This isn’t to say it’s the only diet plan we promote. As we’ve stated clearly, CrossFit The Club believes there is no one perfect diet plan to fuel your body with and achieve your goals. EveryBODY is different! You have to do what works for you. We do love the Flex Diet though!

So what is the Flex Diet? Well evidencemag.com lays it out pretty clearly:

Flexible dieting has several different interpretations, but we’re going to define it with the following four criteria:

  1. Modifying your diet based on your preferences, goals, and tolerances.
  2. Letting yourself enjoy your favorite foods in moderation without feeling guilty or deprived.
  3. Staying calm and sticking to your diet if you do overeat, or have something that’s not “on” your diet.
  4. Focusing just as much on maintaining fat loss as on achieving it.
