One thing I wouldnt wear any white t-shirts, you wont get wet or anything just probably a little dirty. You all may want to see if maurizo has any extra gloves as well?????? Can’t wait!!!
Did the rest of you get a threatening letter from Dirk Keyes in the mail like I did? He seems to be taking this competition pretty serious. I’ve copied and pasted part of it for those that didn’t receive this:
“Attention fellow CFTC Games Participants.
I have been looking forto these games for weeks. This is your official warning to be watch out for me; Dirk Keyes. I was a little offended that many of you commented on how great Julie Losee looked in her old cheer leading picture. Well, I’ll have you know that she’s not the only one that looks good in their old cheerleader clothes. To prove how good I look, I will be participating in these games in my college cheerleader uniform. If any of the WOD’s include Toe Touches or Chants, prepared to be destroyed by my greatness. That’s right; the pom poms are coming off! If any one tries to keep up with me, don’t be surprised when I smack you with the Spirit Fingers of Pain. That’s right, you all will rue the day when you did not complement Dirk “Diggler” Keyes for my picture in my cheer leading uniform. I have feelings too, darn it!!!!”…….
The rest of the letter just babbles on about how they should bring back the show, Punky Brewster and I’m not really sure what that has to do with this, so I’ll save you from having to read that, but he seems pretty serious. I’m starting to get a little worried……
Oh and P.S. they should bring back Punky Brewster! TV has went no where fast since they took her off the air. Oh yeah, the cheer leading uniform might be off, I think it might have shrunk in storage, I wore it to the store tonight and people kept yelling “moose knuckle” at me? I am not sure what that was supposed to mean?
so very sad that Aaron and I won’t be able to participate, judge or even just plain watch the CFTC Games this weekend. Cedar City will pale in comparison. I hope someone has thier video camera at the ready so we can watch the awesome athleticism later on that is sure to be brought out with this competition. Good luck to one and all!!
